Level 2: Stillness, the Neutral Mind
Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Immersion in Austin, TX
A deeper exploration of meditation, the body, the mind, and the space within—inviting deeper presence, clearer awareness, and greater choice in how we meet our lives.
October 16 - November 22
Sunshine Haus • Casa de Luz VillageJoin us for Level 2: Stillness, the Neutral Mind
During five immersive weekends, we’ll go deeper into the study and experience of meditation, the nature of the mind, and the practice of living with greater awareness—exploring these teachings from within our own lived experience.
Through Kundalini Yoga, extended meditations, sacred mantra, breathwork, rebirthing practices, self-inquiry, and embodied exploration, the practice itself becomes our laboratory: a space to witness the mind as it moves, recognize the patterns that shape our perception, and experience what becomes available when we stay, listen, and allow ourselves to go deeper.
This immersion is an invitation to slow down enough to listen. To meet emotion without being ruled by it. To recognize the mind while it is moving. And to cultivate the steadiness, discernment, and presence of the meditative mind—on the cushion, in relationship, and in everyday life.
Lovingly created for anyone who feels called to:
Explore kundalini meditation, mantra, breathwork, kriya and the inner landscape of the mind
Experience breath, voice, body, and mind as doorways into presence, expression, and deeper connection—revealing the wisdom, vitality, and possibility already within
Deepen awareness of the patterns shaping how you perceive, feel, and respond
Create more space between reaction and response, strengthening your capacity for discernment, presence, and conscious choice
Feel more grounded and at home within your own experience
Let meditation move beyond the cushion and into everyday life
This immersion is designed to meet you where you are and support your next layer of growth, expansion, and awareness—whether meditation has been part of your life for years or you simply feel called to explore it more deeply.
The Experiential Arch & Intention
I Observe
Can I notice the movements of my mind as they unfold?
We begin by exploring the nature of the mind and practicing the art of witnessing—learning to notice thought, sensation, emotion, and inner movement without immediately needing to interpret, change, or respond.
I Recognize
What is shaping the way I experience this moment?
As awareness deepens, we widen the field of observation to include the body, emotions, nervous system, memory, conditioning, perception, and environment—beginning to recognize how these layers of experience continually shape and influence one another.
I Digest
Can I allow experience to settle without reaching for more?
We create space for what has been practiced, felt, and discovered to settle—allowing the body to integrate, emotions to move, the mind to become quieter, and reflection, rest, and stillness to become part of the practice.
Eligible for 100 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (YACEP).
The Kundalini Yoga Approach to Meditation
Kundalini Yoga meditation often weaves together breath, mantra, mudra, movement, posture, sound, and visualization—giving us many ways to work with attention, energy, and awareness.
Rather than asking the mind to simply become quiet, the practice invites us into direct experience, where we can observe the mind, feel what is moving through the body, and begin to recognize the patterns shaping how we perceive and respond.
Over time, these practices can become a powerful way of meeting ourselves more honestly, becoming more aware of the relationship between sensation, emotion, thought, and perception, loosening our identification with old stories, and creating space for greater presence.
